Summary

Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Community Advocate focuses on resident retention and customer service by supporting community operations.

Hours                                                                       

Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services. Workdays may be adjusted based on community needs. Part Time: 2 days per week, 5 hours per day. (Average 10 hours/week.)

Knowledge / Skills / Ability

  • Able to provide customer service to current residents.
  • Independently establish priorities, manage time effectively, and fulfill assigned objectives and
  • Respond to and resolve unexpected problems and handle priority changes in a fast-moving, fluid
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills, and ability to work well with onsite staff, customers, supervisors, corporate office associates and
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak and read in Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to develop and implement resident retention programs.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is
  • Must be a current student and/or a current resident at the community.

Responsibilities

  • Residential Standards
    • Coordinate monthly community resident event.
    • Uphold community online reputation.
    • Sort and deliver any miscellaneous mail and/or packages delivered to Leasing Office.
    • Support and participate in fulfilling the customer service
    • Identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Community

  Community Inspections and Quality Assurance Review

  • Prepare move-in gifts and place them in the make ready apartments prior to move-in.
  • Inspect clubhouse, office, amenities, models, and other common areas daily to ensure they are prepared according to
  • Participate in immediate litter pickup around community exteriors and common areas to maintain community appearance
  • Assist in unit turn process, including but not limited to painting, cleaning and minor repairs.
